Hi! I’m Jenny- pink-haired mommy, artiste, toy collector, and PEZ connoisseur. Nice to meet you!

I began drawing at an early age, when it suddenly occurred to me one day that perhaps my mother was right- crayons WEREN’T for eating (no matter how good they tasted).

Armed with this enlightening new knowledge, I began doodling boxy unicorns and primitive Saint Bernards, usually in the margins of my schoolwork. Eventually, my second grade teacher took notice of my “skills”, and spoke to a friend of hers, an accomplished artist and teacher himself, about possibly taking me on for private tutoring. He initially declined, as he did not believe that an eight-year-old would have the focus or drive needed to learn the techniques he usually taught high schoolers. She persisted, and he finally agreed to meet me.

I spent many years under his tutelage, and it was there that I learned the fundamentals and techniques that have molded me into the artist that I am today. I am forever grateful to these two amazing people, for without their support and faith, I may never have had the courage to do what I am doing. Thank you both- I am forever in your debt.

Today, my art focuses mainly on realism, with portraits (both person and animal) being my specialty. This, along with heavy influence from pop culture, 80s nostalgia, toys, music, and punk rock, creates the inspiration for my latest works.

When I’m not drawing (and even when I am, really!), you can almost always find me hanging with my amazing daughter, who is my greatest source of inspiration and joy.

I also enjoy all things Harry Potter, John Candy movies, regaling folks with my Eric Cartman impersonations, collecting anything/everything PEZ (I’ve even got PEZ flavored popcorn! You can check out the ever-expanding collection here!) , and spending time with my awesome family.
